Tile Europe

Tile Europe

Dishes cooked in stone ovens are cooked and served in terracotta utensils, as opposed to metal, and are called tile. For example, fish in tile, casserole in tile, dishes with kashar in tile…

Tile Europe dishes, the dishes are sent to the stone oven in the Serbethane kitchen by our expert chefs and presented to your table with a wonderful service presentation.

In the Europe region, the taste of food cooked on tiles is more natural than that of food cooked in pans or in containers such as metal, copper or aluminum. Because it is cooked in stone. The real flavor emerges when the flavor added by the fire of the stone oven to the cooking of the food is combined with the tile.

The history of cooking on tiles dates back to ancient times. Making roof tiles in baked clay used to be cost-free, allowing anyone to make tiles and make their own pots and pans. That's why the tile came into being, and I'm glad it did. From history to the present day, the taste of food cooked on bricks is different from other dishes. If food is still cooked on tiles today, it is because of its naturalness and because the food cooked on tiles tastes good.

Dishes in which meat, onion, tomato and garlic are used are cooked on bricks in the Europe region, and when you consider the spices in them, they have an appearance and of course taste that appeals to the appetite and the eye.

What do our customers say about us?

It is opposite Hagia Sophia in the Eminönü district of Istanbul. Its architect is Sedefkâr Mehmed Ağa, who was appointed as the chief architect after the death of Mimar Sinan. Sultan Ahmet Social Complex, which was started to be built with a great ceremony by Ahmet I in 1609 and completed in 1616, has the distinction of being one of the largest social complexes in Istanbul. It is also known as the "Blue Mosque" in the West due to the more than 20,000 tiles with floral motifs used in the complex. According to what Evliya Çelebi wrote about this monumental structure; Seven palaces were destroyed. The fact that the social complex is one of the last examples of the Ottoman classical architectural approach has added a special value to the structure.

The best restaurant we ate in Istanbul. It was the first place we stopped after unpacking and everything about this place screams authentic Turkish cuisine. The staff was very nice and courteous and the food was seriously the best. I recommend the Meat Test kebab mix with beef and chicken and ravioli. Both are outstanding at this location. We tried the same dishes at another restaurant and it didn't even come close. I recommend it to all tourists visiting this place. Great staff, authentic food and the price of everything is beyond reasonable.

We stumbled upon this amazing restaurant by chance and had a surprisingly delicious experience. Our server was very friendly and recommended us a traditional dish, Chicken Testi Kebab. It turned out to be quite an interesting and delicious dish. The whole experience made us feel comfortable enough to stay for a few hours, enjoying Sheeha, hot drinks and food. If you are in old Istanbul, I highly recommend Serbethane.

It is a very nice place behind the Blue Mosque where you can eat delicious and relatively cheap food, play backgammon, smoke hookah, and enjoy relaxing background music. The desserts are divine! The most delicious thing I've ever eaten!
